Chatching Up Continued

So, coming back to Boston in the fall, I was carrying with me this new found interest in the tactility of paint. I made these paintings the first week back:




Then these:


Then I started making these cutout collages:





Which made me feel compelled to start experimenting with woodcut relief. None of those are really in a place to be posted right now, and I don't actually think they work in the way I wanted them to. But I did make this sculpture, which is kind of representative of the direction I'd like the reliefs to head in:

And that pretty much brings everything up to date. I have an idea for some large-scale paintings brewing...
